When did it all begin?
For us it all started two years ago, but the origins go back about twenty years, when an innovative woman first combined breast milk with acrylic to create the very first breast milk stones.
When we first heard about the idea, we were fascinated. We had friends and relatives who were breastfeeding, and we were able to experiment with their milk while listening to their experiences and discovering the deep meaning – and the challenges – of breastfeeding.
Driven by curiosity and wonder, we measured, neutralized and blended milk with acrylic until we had perfected the process. That's how the first pieces were born, handcrafted one by one for the people close to us, and then for everyone.

We process your milk individually and transform it into a stone that reflects the same tones as your original milk. That's why your jewelry may have a different shade of white than the stones you see when placing your order.
You may notice tiny specks that come from heavier proteins: all of these variations make your jewelry unique, and this is our favorite moment of the whole process. No two pieces are ever the same.
How do I care for my breast milk jewelry?

The stone is sturdy but not scratch-proof: handle your jewelry with care, especially if you wear more than one piece at a time. With proper care it will last long enough to be passed on with love.
