Breast Milk Charms
A breast milk charm is a small pendant with a stone made from your own milk, designed to hang from a charm bracelet or a chain you already wear. It is the most flexible piece in our breast milk jewelry collection: add one for your first baby, another for the next, or mark each milestone of your feeding journey with its own charm.
Every charm is handcrafted in our studio in 925 sterling silver or solid 9K, 14K and 18K gold, with a loop to hang from a charm bracelet or chain.
Designs in this collection
Sophie, Bente, Eline and Indy each set the milk stone in their own silhouette, from simple to a little more detailed. Eline and Indy can add a small cubic zirconia or lab-grown diamond accent next to the milk stone. Each design is available in silver or in yellow, rose and white gold, so you can match the charm to the bracelet or chain you already own.
New to charm bracelets? Our silver charm bracelet comes in three lengths and is made to carry these charms. You can also wear a charm on one of our silver chains or a 14K gold chain as a delicate pendant.
Why mothers choose a charm
Charms suit mothers who already have a bracelet they love and want to add meaning to it rather than replace it. They are also the easiest way to build a keepsake over time: with a charm per child, one bracelet tells the whole story. And because a charm is small, it needs only a little milk, which matters if your supply was modest or your journey was short.
How a charm is made
After you order we mail a free breast milk shipping kit with a vial, a prepaid tracked return envelope and instructions. Fill the vial, seal it and drop it in the mailbox. Your milk is stabilized, blended with a special acrylic resin, cast in thin layers and polished into a stone that is set by hand in your charm. Standard production is six to eight weeks from the day your milk arrives; see our shipping and returns page.
Frequently asked questions
Will a breast milk charm fit my existing bracelet?
Our charms are made to hang from our silver charm bracelet and from most chains. If you are unsure about the clasp or link size of your own bracelet, send us a photo through our contact page and we will confirm before you order.
Can I order a second charm later?
Yes. We can keep leftover milk for up to six months, so you can order another charm without sending new milk. If more time has passed, simply order again and we send a new shipping kit.
Can I add an engraving?
Depending on the design, the back of a charm can be engraved with an initial, a name or a date. Options are shown on each product page.
