Breast milk birthstone jewelry tells your story twice. The milk stone remembers the months you spent feeding your baby; the birthstone marks the month they were born. Together they make a piece that belongs to one child and one mother, and to nobody else.

Every design in this collection is handcrafted in our studio in 925 sterling silver or solid 9K, 14K and 18K gold, and set with both stones by hand. Choose the birthstone for your baby’s month when you order, or pick a cubic zirconia if you prefer a clear accent.

Designs in this collection

A breast milk ring with birthstone is the most popular choice: Giulia, Lina, Elisa and Lot place the birthstone beside the milk stone on one band; Lina Duo is the two-stone version, a favorite for two children. Birthstone pendants and necklaces include Esmée, Danique, Lucy, Ayla and the Magic Drop necklace. The Esmée bracelet brings the pairing to your wrist. All are available in silver and in yellow, rose or white gold, and most can be engraved.

Ordering birthstone jewelry with your milk

Choose the design, metal and birth month, and we mail a free breast milk shipping kit with a leak-proof vial, a prepaid tracked return envelope and instructions. One tablespoon of milk is enough, fresh or frozen. Your milk is stabilized, blended with a special acrylic resin, cast in thin layers and polished into a stone, then set next to the birthstone. Standard production is six to eight weeks from the day your milk arrives; see our shipping and returns page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine birthstones for more than one child?

Yes. Lina Duo is designed with two stones, and for larger families a birthstone pendant per child, worn on one chain, works beautifully. Tell us your plans when you order and we will advise on the best combination.

Is the birthstone a real gemstone?

The stone options differ per design and are listed on each product page. Some months use the traditional gemstone, others a lab-grown or color-matched alternative; April, for example, uses a lab-grown diamond.

How do I care for birthstone jewelry?

Treat it like the rest of your breast milk jewelry: off before water, perfume and sun, on after getting ready, stored in its box. Gemstones that are worn daily can be cleaned with a soft cloth and a little lukewarm water.
